  Maple Glazed Butternut Squash
Cooking Instructions

1. To prepare butternut squash, peel, seed and quarter, then cut into half-inch slices.

2. Add the slices to a large saucepan and add water, maple syrup, ground nutmeg, and dark rum.

3. Bring to a boil, then simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the squash is tender.

4. Transfer the squash with a slotted spoon to a heated serving dish

5. Reserve the cooking liquid and boil until thickened. Pour over the squash.

1/4 tsp of ground mace
1/4 cup of dark rum
2/3 cup of water
